Self-host template

Terms

VoxHF servers are operated independently. The operator of this installation must replace this template with the terms that apply to its users before enabling account registration.

Operator action required

Server-specific terms should identify the operator and contact method and explain eligibility, acceptable use, availability, termination, liability, governing rules and how changes will be communicated.

Experimental software

VoxHF is experimental flight-simulation software. It can contain defects, lose test data, change or become unavailable. It is not intended for real-world aviation, safety-critical use or emergencies.

Unofficial project

VoxHF is unofficial and is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by IVAO. Users remain responsible for their own network account, official client software, communications and compliance with the network's current rules.

Accounts and devices

Protect passwords, passkeys, recovery codes, agent tokens and paired devices. Do not grant access to people who are not authorised by the operator, and revoke devices you no longer control.

Acceptable use

Do not access systems without permission, bypass security controls, expose local Altitude or VoxHF ports to the public internet, impersonate others, harass users, send spam, attack infrastructure, misuse credentials or present VoxHF as an official IVAO product.

Voice and messages

Users are responsible for what they transmit and for preventing unintended microphone use. Communications should not be assumed to be confidential and can also be processed by the aviation network, network providers or software on connected devices.

Open-source licence

The downloadable VoxHF source code and software are licensed under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0 only, subject to the full licence included with the repository or release package. An independent operator remains responsible for its server, users, security and legal notices.
